I’m really excited! It’s Monday morning and I can’t wait to just get through the week. I’m always excited for work weeks to go quickly and for it to be the weekend again, but this weekend, in particular, is special. It’s not only my birthday this coming Friday, I’m also visiting a new car mechanic operating in the Brighton area. I’ve got the service booked in for Saturday afternoon because I very much expect to be getting a new car for my birthday. I’m turning twenty-one and my parents have always alluded to my twenty-first birthday being the biggest celebration of my life. That’s why I’m expecting them to buy me a brand new car for my birthday!
I’m seriously so excited for my birthday. I’m taking the day off work for it (I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned that in this blog post yet or just thought to mention it) and I’m going to spend the day both relaxing and getting ready for my birthday party! Yeah, that’s right! I’m having a birthday party on my actual birthday. I’m getting my makeup done for it which is so exciting. My boyfriend is also taking the day off for it (bless his soul) and we’re going to spend the day together. This is going to be the best birthday ever!
My boyfriend is just as excited, if not more excited, about me getting a car for my birthday. He’s already asked me if he can come with me for the car service. Brighton isn’t particularly close to our house so it’s really nice of him that he’s not only willing, but excited to come with me. It’ll be nice to have his backup because I obviously don’t know too much about cars. My boyfriend knows a lot about cars but he’s never owned a new one, so he’s excited!
