So we all had a busy couple of years there, huh? Yikes to everyone’s pain – so sorry you had to go through all of that. Luckily, your bestie Rebecca has managed to escape completely unscathed! Can you believe I haven’t broken a bone in my entire life?! I know! Bonkers!
Anyway, I gotta head off now and meet my husband for a secret date. He won’t tell me what we’re doing – it’s super romantic!
My name is Brian, and I’m Rebecca’s husband. I don’t know if any of you have heard from her in recent months, but I recently took her ice skating as a fun date night idea. She unfortunately slipped on the ice and sustained mild injuries to her right shoulder and arm.
Luckily those were just some bumps and bruises, but when we took her to an expert shoulder injury specialist near Melbourne he told us that she was exhibiting signs of extreme shoulder arthritis, but hadn’t mentioned it before for some reason.
I’ve heard Rebecca talk about how supportive you people are for each other when you’re going through something tough, so I thought that maybe I would hop online and talk to some of you – at least until Rebecca starts speaking to me again.
It looks like she might have to have surgery on her shoulder, although I’m not completely sure what happens during a shoulder replacement surgery. Hopefully it’s not too much for her to recover from, and she’s back on her feet and using her shoulder again (although I suspect she’ll never carry another grocery bag in from the car again).
If anybody can help me out by letting me know the best ways to help Rebecca, what she might need as she recovers, I’d really appreciate it.
Looking forward to hearing from you, and hopefully this post finds everyone well.
